What I wore in France

Aujourd’hui je partage avec vous tous les looks que j’ai pu porté pendant mon séjour d’un mois en France. J’avais pris des selfies miroirs presque tous les jours. J’espère que ça vous plaira. Vous allez pouvoir voir quelques pièces que je me suis créée dont certaines que je n’ai pas encore posté par ici ainsi que de nouvelles pièces que je me suis achetée en France. Bientôt, je partagerais avec vous un nouveau haul avec tous ces nouveaux vêtements.

Today I’m sharing with you all the outfits I wore during our one month visit in France. I took mirror selfies almost every day. So I hope you’ll enjoy this article. You are gonna be able to see some pieces I made. Some of those haven’t been posted on the blog yet. And there is also some new pieces I got while I was in France. Soon I’ll sharing with you a new haul with all theses new clothes.

La plupart du temps entre Bahreïn et la France (Nantes ) il y’a presque 20 degrés d’écart. J’étais trop contente de pouvoir donc inclure dans ma valise quelques épaisseurs que je porte très rarement sur Bahreïn. Mais honnêtement en arrivant fin mai on ne pensait pas avoir aussi froid. Les premiers jours on a eu du mal à se réchauffer, puis il a fait beau, puis il a refait froid puis chaud voir très chaud puis re-froid. Ça nous a changé de Bahreïn ou même si on ressent deux saisons, nos tenues ne changent pas beaucoup tout au long de l’année.

Most of the days there is a difference of 20 celsius degrees between France (Nantes) and Bahrain. So I was really excited to be able to wear again some jackets and layers I rarely wear in Bahrain. But honestly I didn’t expect the weather to be that cold when we first arrived at the end of May. The first days we’re really cold and then the weather was nice and then it was cold again and then hot, very hot and at the end it was starting to get chilly again. It was different from Bahrain where we almost wear summer clothes all year long.

The first days in France

Fin mai, il faisait étonnement encore froid. Si on était contents de retrouver de jolies températures, on commençait à avoir vraiment froid et à se demander si on aurait pas dû emmener plus de vêtements chauds dans notre valise. Les premiers jours en France n’ont pas été très intéressants car on devait rester isolés pendant 10 jours voir 11 (le premier jour d’arrivée ne comptait pas) même en étant vaccinés. Mais heureusement on pouvait être avec ma famille, donc c’était le plus important même si je vous avouerais qu’on avait très hâte de pouvoir sortir de la maison. J’ai donc porté mes vêtements les plus chauds pendant nos premiers jours.

At the end of may, the weather was surprisingly still pretty cold. We’re happy to feel the cold again but we’re starting to get really cold and wonder if we shouldn’t include warmer clothes in our suitcase. Our first days in France were not really interesting because even if we’re vaccinated we had to stay isolated for 10 days well even 11 days because they didn’t count the day of our arrival as a day. But fortunately we’re able to be home with my family so it’s all matter to us. But we couldn’t wait to go out and finally enjoy our vacations. That’s why I was wearing the warmer clothes I brought in my suitcase.

First days of sun

Puis le soleil est revenu et j’ai pu porté des vêtements plus légers. On a également pu mieux profité de la campagne. Au début de notre séjour on avait déjà fait quelques balades mais il y’avait des jours où le temps était vraiment trop froid et pluvieux pour sortir.

Then the sun was back and I could wear lighter clothes. We were also able to better enjoy the countryside. At the beginning of our trip we stil did some walks around but there were some days were the weather was too rainy and chilly to get out the house.

Back to Nantes

On a enfin pu sortir de la maison. J’étais tellement contente de retrouver ma ville natale, Nantes. On en a bien profité. Le lendemain nous avons visité Le parc légendia, c’était trop chouette. On a vu des animaux et des spectacles mais je vous en reparlerais. Je portais déjà de nouveaux habits que j’ai pu me trouvé sur Nantes. Et ensuite, nous avons visité Clisson avant de partir en week-end.

We’re finally able to leave the house. I was so happy to be back in birth city : Nantes. We had a lot of fun. The day after we visited Legendia. I’ll tell you more about this park but it’s a zoo with also a lot of shows. I was already wearing some of my new clothes I found in Nantes. And then, we visited Clisson before to go out for the week-end.

A week-end out in Brittany and Normandy for my birthday.

On a passé un super week-end en Bretagne puis en Normandie pour mon anniversaire. Le jour de mon anniversaire, je portais une nouvelle robe Zara en broderie anglaise. Puis nous sommes rentrés le lendemain pour fêter mon anniversaire en famille à la maison. Ce jour la, je portais bien sûr la robe que je m’étais faite pour l’occasion. Vendredi, je vous posterais l’article sur cette robe.

We had a great week-end in Brittany and in Normandy for my birthday. The day of my birthday I was wearing a new Zara dress in broderie anglaise. The next day we’re back home to celebrate my birthday in family. This day I was wearing of course the dress I made especially for this day. This Friday I’ll share the article about this dress.

3 days in Normandy

Nous sommes ensuite repartis en Normandie pour y passer 3 jours. Les températures étaient idéales, ni trop chaudes, ni trop fraiches. J’ai pu porté la veste en tweed que je m’étais créée pour mon séjour en France.

Then we came back to Normandy for 3 days. The temperatures were perfect. It was not too hot, no too cold. I was able to wear the tweed jacket I made especially for France.

Summer days in France

Puis, nous sommes rentrés sur Nantes et on a pu profité du beau temps. Il y’avait des jours où il a même fait très chaud, mais heureusement les journées n’étaient pas aussi chaudes que sur Bahreïn. Sur l’une des photos, vous allez pouvoir voir le cirée et la marinière très typiques que je me suis achetée pendant mon séjour. J’aurais adoré pouvoir la porter mais la pluie n’est pas venu nous rendre visite pendant nos derniers jours.

Then we came back to Nantes. It was really sunny. We even had really hot summer days. Fortunately it was not as hot as in Bahrain. In one of the pictures you could also see me wearing a rain coat and a typical striped top I bought during my trip. I would of love to wear this outfit before to leave but we had no rain to end our trip in France.
