Pretending to go back to school.

J’espère que vous avez passé un bon week-end. Ce week-end c’était un week-end de 4 jours pour mon mari. On est restés au calme à la maison mais hier on est allés voir le nouveau film Marvel au cinéma : Shang-chi et c’était vraiment génial. Après chaque nouvel film marvel, je deviens un peu plus fan de l’univers des super-héros. Les températures n’ont toujours pas baissé sur Bahreïn et je pense qu’il va encore faire chaud les prochaines semaines. J’ai hâte que les températures s’adoucissent. Septembre est souvent le mois de l’année où l’été Bahraini commence à m’insupporter car c’est souvent à cette période de l’année que j’aimerais pouvoir porter des pantalon, des blazers ou des vestes. En bref’ un vrai look de rentrée. À défaut, je vous propose un look de ma rentrée idéale avec mes températures actuelles qui tournent toujours autour des 40 degrés. Dans ce look, je porte une jupe à carreaux d’une ancienne collection Bershka que j’ai associé à un top noir. J’adore les carreaux surtout a cette période de l’année pour donner un style « preppy » à mes tenues. En accessoires, j’ai ajouté des perles, des chaussettes en dentelles dans mes mocassins H&M et mon nouveau serre-tête d’Alice aux Pays des merveilles. Je vous reparlerais de cette collection coup de coeur dans un de mes prochaines articles  » Mes petits trucs ». Je porte mon sac à dos Michael Kors et le meilleur livre que j’ai lu cette année (et qui était assorti à ma tenue) : « Midnight at the library ». D’ailleurs les photos ont véritablement été prise devant le mur d’une école. Je trouvais ce mur rose très photogénique. Que pensez-vous de ce look ?

I hope you all had a great week-end. This week- end was a 4 days week-end for my husband. We stayed home but it was a nice quiet week-end. yesterday we went to see the new Marvel movie at the cinema : Shang-chi and we love it ! After each new Marvel movie I get more in love of the super heroes universe. The temperatures in Bahrain are still very high and I don’t think they’ll get lower in the next week. September is always the month where summer is starting to be too long for me. That’s the time of the year where I wish I could wear pants, blazer or some jackets one. Since I can’t wear theses kind of clothes without sweating too much I’m sharing with you today the look I could wear if I was going back to school in my actual temperatures which are around 100 fahreinet degrees. In this look I’m wearing a check skirt from an old Bershka collection with a black top. I love checks especially at this time of the year to add a preppy style to my outfits. I accessorize my outfit with some pearls, lace socks in my H&M loafersand my new Alice in wonderland’s headband. I’ll certainly talk to this collection in my next « Mes petits trucs » article. I’m also carrying my Michael Kors backpack and the best novel I read this year so far :  » Midnight at the library ». By the way I took theses pictures in front of the walls of a school. I thought the pink wall could highlight my outfit. What do you of this outfit ?

    So nice to read that you had a lovely weekend going to the movies, I would love to go more often to the movies but there aren’t a lot of options around here.

    And about the weather I could totally understand your point since the situation here is kinda similar. We’re still facing hot temperatures (30 degrees or so) but I’m starting to feel a little bit tired and I want to change the shorts for some blazers, light jackets and pants!

    You made such a good look that has all the « back to the school vibes », but in your own way and with a nice styling touch! My favorite part are the shoes with the socks, very Gucci! On the other side I would love to read The Midnight Library, I have read a lot of good reviews about this novel!

    1. I totally feel you. I hope you’ll be able to wear blazers really soon.
      Summer is fun but I never think is the most fun time for street style haha. 🙂
      And yes I really love this book. Let me know if you read it.

    1. Oui, je lis en anglais. J’avais peur au départ d’avoir du mal à comprendre un lire comme souvent quand je regarde un film je suis plus à l’aise avec des sous-titres en anglais, mais j’ai toujours été plus à l’aise à l’écrit qu’à l’oral.
