Hello
Today, I’m happy to continue to share with you the visit I did during my stay in France in May-June. At the beginning we thought about visiting Angers, a city I don’t know much about it even if it’s located at only one hour of Nantes. But then we had the idea of visiting a park. We first thought about Terra Botanica which is a botanic park my present told me a lot of good about it but we finally decided to visit the park Legendia. I knew my husband would of like this park because inside this park you can find a zoo and some shows. The park is located in Frossay. It’s at only 30 minutes away from where my parents live so when I was younger I went few times. And I had a lot of good memories from this place. One of my best memory is going there when a pig was giving birth to piglets. How lucky I was to be at the right time at the right place. I also remember of Victor a small dear which you’re able to pet and walk by his side because his mom abandoned him. So he was not able to be with the others deers because they would of probably not accept him. I don’t know what happened to Victor but today it’s a little Daisy which is in the same situation. She is adorable ! I knew this park as the name “Sentier des daims”. This park used to be called like that because daims mean deers and that was the first animals they’re showing to the public in this park. Today you can meet others forest animals like those you’re gonna see in my pictures just below. And they have few shows. Few shows remind me of a famous park in France called “Puy du fou”. Of course the special effects of the shows of Legendis are not as impressing as the ones at “Puy du fou”. Let’s be honest the budget is not the same in theses 2 parks. “Puy du fou” even used to be the number 1 thematic park in the world, My husband visited it during his first visit in France and he got really impressed. Now he is talking about this park to all his American friends who want to visit France. Talking about the Puy du fou, it’s not too bad for non-french speakers because you can have the translation of most of the shows if you pay some walkman with an extra of 10 euros. Unfortunately the shows in Legendia are not translated yet. It’s only in French. So I had to translate a little bit of the story line to my husband so he could understand what was going on. We’re worry at first during the first show because it’s a tale told by a woman in costume. The story was a nice fairy tale but there was not much actions so we got worry my husband would of not have a good time even if the location of this show was beautiful because you could look at the wolves at the same time. Fortunately the other shows had a lot more actions so my husband had a great time. Hopefully in the future this park will have more foreigners visit so they’ll translate the shows. During all the walkways of this park you can find a lot of tales and legends (this time translated in English) which are really interesting. But we couldn’t read everything or it would of take too long. This was really a great visit and I was so happy to visit again one of my childhood park which is continuing to improve and propose new things into their park to welcome the next generation. That’s why I’m not surprise to learn this park is actually in the top of the parks French love in the trip advisor list. On the website I even saw they had opening during Halloween and Christmas times. I remember I saw a show during Christmas when I was younger. I think this is perfect for kids since you can actually visit the Santa’s house. Unfortunately Santa was in vacations in June but we’re still able to see some elves and reindeers in his house. I hope you’ll enjoy theses pictures. I love to take animals in pictures. I’m glad to have a good sense to be able to zoom on their cute face. On the picture with the lama there was actually no glass on the window so I could pet the lama but I must admit I was a little bit worry the lama would of spill on me. And with thew alibis we could actually walk with them. It was so fun to play hide and seek with them.
Des bisous, xx

Oooh how cool is this Margot!
Now everything makes senses and I can understand why you were talking about capibaras for this blog post! Would love to visit a place like this! Actually first time I hear about Legendia (at first I thought it says Legolandia, like Legoland then I read twice haha).
I just adore many of the animals that appear here, but specially the otters, the deers and of course my friend capibara. I have to say that Legendia has a really nice environment for these animals and it is nice that you can find many species that you don’t often see at the streets or in the daily life.
And at first I thought it was just a place to see the animals, which is also cool but then I started reading about the show and the particular way it has a storyline. It sounds fun and some of the costumes reminded me of Beauty and the beast by the way *_*
