Je pensais réussir à vous poster aujourd’hui l’article sur la robe que je me suis faite la semaine dernière pour célébrer nos noces de cire, mais les photos ne sont pas encore prêtes. Je vous montrerais tout ça très bientôt. En attendant, aujourd’hui je vous poste enfin une vidéo sur tout ce dont j’ai ramené de France. Il y’a beaucoup de choses. Donc la vidéo est un peu longue mais j’espère que vous trouverez quand même le temps de la regarder. Dans cette vidéo, vous allez voir que j’ai ramené beaucoup de biscuits pour avoir un goût de France avec vous moi sur Bahreïn, des souvenirs de visites qu’on a pu faire, des jeux de société et des livres. J’ai même ajouté dans cette vidéo tous les cadeaux que j’ai reçu pour mon anniversaire. J’ai eu la chance de pouvoir célébrer mon anniversaire en France avec ma famille et quand je suis rentrée beaucoup de cadeaux m’attendaient de la part de mon mari. Je les ai inclus dans cette vidéo car il avait repéré beaucoup de choses en France mais il attendait qu’on soit rentrés pour m’offrir tout ça. On était déjà bien chargés avec 3 valises + deux bagages cabines dans le train pour notre trajet Nantes-Paris. Je vous laisse découvrir tous nos achats dans la vidéo. J’ai également fait beaucoup de shopping de vêtements pendant mon séjour en France. Je vous montrerais tout ça dans un prochain haul.

Dites-moi si vous aussi vous ramenez des souvenirs de vacances ou si vous aussi en tant qu’expatriés vous ramenez beaucoup de choses quand vous rentrer dans votre pays.

I thought I could post today the DIY article of the dress I made to celebrate our 4 years anniversary but the pictures are not ready yet. I’ll show you this very soon. Waiting for it, I’m sharing with you today the haul video of everything I came back with from France. There is a lot of things and yet I didn’t include all the clothes I bought from France. I’ll post my clothes shopping haul next time. This video is already a little bit long. I tried to be as fast as I could to show you everything we got from there. In this video, you are gonna be able to see all the biscuits I brought from France to get French tastes in Bahrain. There are also souvenirs of the visits we did in France, board games and books. I even added all the birthday presents I got. I was lucky to celebrate my birthday with my family during our trip in France. And I also included the presents my husband got for me. He waited for us to be back in Bahrain to offer me his gifts but he got some of the ideas in France that’s why I thought it would of be cool to add theses presents in this video. We had a lot to carry when we took our train Nantes-Paris to go to the airport. We had 3 suitcases and 2 carry-on luggages. I hope you’ll enjoy this video and have the time to watch it.

Let me know if when you’re coming back from vacations you also love to bring back a lot of souvenirs and if you are an expat like me you brought back home a lot of things from your country.

    Je crois qu’on fait tous pareil les expatriés ! Dès que je rentrais en France je ramenais toujours de la nourriture introuvable au Portugal 🙂 La chose la plus improbable c’est d’avoir ramené de l’aligot (je ne sais pas si tu connais c’est une spécialité de l’Aubrac, une sorte de purée avec de la tomme fraîche dedans), j’en avais pris 2kg pour les congeler en arrivant !!

    1. Haha, je comprends totalement ! Je n’ai jamais goûté de l’aligot mais moi je suis également rentrée avec un paquet de purée Mousline.
      J’adore cette marque et malheureusement on l’a trouve rarement à l’étranger.

  4. Bonjour Margot, d’habitude je n’apporte pas grand chose de mes voyages, les expériences me suffisent mais ma compagne est d’Algérie et quand on y va on rentre en Espagne avec tellement de choses qu’on a l’impression qu’on va monter un boutique hahaha

    Finally time to catch up on your latest blog post and now you’re making me adding things to my wishlist, specially food haha.

    I’m sure you were happy to bring many of these souvenirs from France. Honestly now I want to try the Lu Pastries and the other sweetness, we have been talking about that and I have a sweettooth, will check out if I can find some of those things here. Also the Doritos 3D seems really appealing 😉 we have a version here and I bet they’re pretty similar, these are my favorites but I’d rather be careful in order to don’t eat all the bag haha.

    And talking about the other souvenirs, the crochet hat with flowers is the best accessory for the season (you wore with other really nice garments on the look) and well, BOOK HAUL! I see a lot of interesting pieces like the graphic novel and obviously the book flowers by Taschen *_* would love to get that one!

    1. Haha. I really hope you’ll find some Lu biscuits. Let me know if you test the. I totally know the feelings snacks are the worst. When you start the bag you can’t stop eating it haha.
