Noces de cire

Hello !

J’espère que vous passez un super week-end. Jeudi, nous fêtions nos 4 ans de mariage et nous avons passé une chouette journée. Je vous raconterais tout ça mardi prochain dans un article dédié, comme j’ai l’habitude de poster chaque année en incluant les cadeaux que l’on s’est offert. Peut-être que ça vous donnera des idées si vous aussi vous voulez fêter vos anniversaires de mariage traditionnellement. Cette année la matière anniversaire était la cire. Et tout comme l’année dernière, je me suis créée une robe pour cet évènement. C’est pourquoi la semaine dernière, je n’ai pas réussi à poster le contenu que je pensais vous poster. Mais ce n’est que partie remise. En attendant, je partage avec vous aujourd’hui les photos qu’on a prise avec hubby. Chaque année, on s’improvise un photoshoot plus classe et un autre plus casual avec nos cadeaux d’anniversaire de mariage. Je vous partagerais le second dans l’article que je posterais mardi. Sur ces photos, je porte bien entendu la robe que je me suis faite pour l’occasion et les talons dorés que mes parents m’ont offert à Noël dernier. Jeudi j’essayerais de vous poster l’article dédié à cette robe. Je suis trop contente d’avoir finalement choisi ce tissu pour me créer ma robe car sa couleur blanche satinée me rappelle la cire l’imprimé fleuri me rappelle les abeilles qui butinent les fleurs. Hubby porte tout simplement une veste grise, c’est d’ailleurs la veste qu’il portait à notre mariage, un tee-shirt marron clair, un pantalon blanc et des baskets.

I hope you’re having a great week-end. Tuesday we’re celebrating our 4 years anniversary. We had a great day. I’ll tell your more about it next Tuesday in the article where I give you ideas to celebrate a 4 year anniversary along with some ideas of presents. We kept it simple but we follow the French tradition where each year corresponds to a material and every year, it’s a lot fun to look for the perfect gifts in the anniversary material. This year the anniversary material was the wax and just like last year I created my own dress for this day. That’s why last week I couldn’t post all the article I had in mind. I was too busy making my dress. But it’s ok I’ll catch up soon. Today I’m sharing with you all the pictures we took with hubby. Every year we like to take 2 photoshoots one where we dress up and an other one more casual with the presents we got. I’ll post the second one next Tuesday. In theses pictures I was of course wearing the dress I made for this special day. I’m happy how the dress turned out. I’m glad I picked this fabric because I think the white satin is similar to the wax and the flowers print remind me of the flowers and the bees. Thursday I’m hoping to post the full article about this dress along with the making video. Hubby was wearing a simple outfit with his grey blazer. By the way it was the jacket he actually wore for our wedding. And he matched it with a brown tee-shirt, white pants and a pair of sneakers.

Now i understand. It’s about the design of your unique dress. It’s fashionable as well as elegant. Beautiful dress. I like your post as always i am.

    You did an amazing job with the dress and the fabric looks elegant and really nice, feels like something really expensive bought in a boutique.
