Hello !
I hope you all had a great week end for the 4th of July. This week end, we invited some of my husband’s coworkers for a barbecue and it was really nice. We almost all went to swim and we did some board games.
And today I’m back on the blog to share with you a new look article. When I was in France we didn’t shoot that many looks but we still took 2 in pictures. This one and an other one with the dress I made for my birthday. I’ll show you this very soon with the video of its making process. But for now, I’m sharing with you a look I took in pictures in front of the field of my parent’s house. I was waiting for the farmers to come and made haystack ( in French we call the circle ones roundballers. I’m not sure if in english it’s the same technic word ). It’s so beautiful when the field is covered with haystack. In one month the landscape changed a lot : When we first arrived the field were all green then it started to dry and it became more yellow to be able to prepare the haystack. The green landscapes are something I miss a lot in Bahrain. That was nice to have a different background for my outfit pictures. On theses pictures, I’m wearing a new Zara dress I bought in France. I couldn’t wait to go shopping again in France. I never go shopping in Bahrain because everything is overpriced but of course I still buy clothes but just online. I’m wearing this long dress with an Asos hat and blue gingham heels I got from Asos. I wish I could of match this dress with an other pair of sandals I own but this is often what happen when you’re in vacations. The struggle is to prepare the suitcase and not add too many pair of shoes even if they won’t look as good in my outfits. And I styled this outfit with my favorite purse : A See by Chloe leather satchel. I got it few years ago when I was an intern at Chloe for my fashion studies. I was lucky to participate at specials sales reserved for the personnel. I bought it only 80 euros. It was already a lot for me who was just a student. But its retail price was probably around 300 euros minimum. I must admit I’m glad I didn’t pay this price for this bag because I think now the leather looks a little bit damaged after wearing it a lot. I wish to keep it one day in my house but for now I’m always happy to wear it again when I come home at my parent’s house.
J’espère que vous apprécierez ces photos.
I hope you’ll appreciate the pictures.
Des bisous, xx
Margot

What great photos with the haybales! 🙂 (that’s what I call those circular ones, but it could be an Australian word!)

Thanks you for letting me know the correct word. I wonder if it’s the same word in American and British.
And thanks for this lovely comment.

It felt great to shop again right? You know I did well at Zara too. And love where you shot this with roundballers. Is this your parents farm? How nice!

Yes I was so happy to go back at shopping in actual shops and not just online. My parents don’t own a farm but the field belongs to their house. They rent it to my mum’s cousin who is a farmer. 🙂
That’s a fabulous dress and these pictures are beautiful!

That blue dress is absolutely breathtaking! I am obsessed with this outfit and the photos in the picturesque field. Your parents land is beautiful. I always struggle with packing outfits for a trip too because I want to bring everything, but my suitcase won’t allow it haha

Yes I totally understand. I always have the same problem. The worst is to make choices haha.
Hey Margot! How nice to see this blog post that you photographed in France!
I love the way you embraced this dress that flows with the wind and you also selected a nice background for the situation. I didn’t know that you worked at Chloé, I’m sure it was a really nice experience, luckily you were able to have one bag and you rocked it really well with this fashion proposal.
As you I am not buying a lot in physical stores, since the pandemic I am buying online a lot! I imagine everything is pretty expensive in Bahrain but luckily you can have things shipped from other regions due to the apo 🙂
Have a magical week!

Yes Chloé was my first internship in the fashion world and I was happy when I got it.
Yes the APO address is really saving me 🙂
Elle est vraiment sublime cette robe ! J’aime beaucoup sa couleur !

Merci beaucoup !
You look so beautiful, Margot! I adore this dress! You can barely see the gingham on the shoes, so I think the pairing looks so pretty in these shots. Lovely shots too! How did you get on that haystack?! It looks so high! I’m happy you spent time with your family!

My husband may have help me a little bit to get into the haystack haha. 🙂
