DIY – Flower printed blouse

Hello,

Aujourd’hui je partage un nouvel article DIY. Ça fait plusieurs mois déjà que j’ai réalisé ce top avec le reste de tissu que j’ai utilisé pour réaliser cette robe ; mais je n’avais toujours pas pris le temps de partager avec vous l’article sur sa réalisation. Ici, je vous propose deux associations de tenues avec ce top. Comme il est assez court, en générale je préfère le porter avec un taille haute. Dans la vidéo ci-dessous, je vous montre comment je l’ai réalisé. J’ai utilisé le même patron pour ma robe seulement j’ai changé beaucoup de choses pour avoir une blouse effet corset avec des manches ballons.

Today I’m sharing with you a new DIY article. It’s been few months since I realized this top but I didn’t take the time to share it with you before. Here I’m wearing it in 2 different ways. It’s a crop top so usually I prefer to wear it with a high waisted bottom. In the video just below I’m showing you how I realize it. I realize it using the leftovers of the dress I made here. I also used the same pattern as I used for my dress except I made a lot of alterations to have this result. With the bows at the front it reminds me of a corset. I also added some puff sleeves.

  10. Ce crop top est adorable et te va à ravir. Avec un jean ou un pantalon en toile, il est parfait même si j’ai peut-être une petite préférence avec le pantalon rose… Gros bisous ma belle.

    First of all congratulations for using leftovers in the creation of this new garment, I remember the dress you posted while ago. And I’d say that using previous materials to create new things is the most amazing thing you can do in order to boost creativity but also to save money, time and resources! Kuddos for that!

    Now talking about the process and the design of the piece I love to see how something like a drawing can be turned out into something tangible like this top! I really like the design and I’d say is perfect for warm days, it really looks like a corset and it was interesting to see you sewing the piece in the video, I couldn’t never do that hahaha you’re really good at it Margot!

    1. Thanks you so much Pablo. Yes I always try to save as much fabric as I can.
      I actually get sad if I don’t have enough leftovers to make an other piece of clothes.
