J’espère que vous passez un bon week-end. Aujourd’hui je partage avec vous les photos que l’on a prise mercredi avec hubby pour nos 3 ans de mariage. 

Pour chaque nouvel anniversaire, on aime suivre la tradition française. Et cette année pour nos 3 ans de mariage ce sont les noces de froment. Alors comme chaque année pour fêter cette journée spéciale nous nous sommes offerts des cadeaux en lien avec le froment. Je vous montrerais tout ça dans un prochain article où je partagerais également tout ce que l’on a fait pour rendre cette journée plus spéciale. Des idées de ce que l’on a pu s’offrir en rapport avec le froment ? 

I hope you all having a wonderful week-end. Today I’m sharing with you the picture we took Wednesday with hubby for our 3 years anniversary. 

Each new year for our anniversary we like to follow the French tradition. This year for our 3 years anniversary it’s the wheat anniversary. So every year to make this day more special we offer to each other a present related to the wheat material. I’ll show you what we got for each other in a next article and what we did to have a special day. Do you have any ideas of what we got for each other related to the wheat ? 

Et comme les deux premières années, on a immortalisé nos looks en photos. ( Vous pouvez retrouver nos photoshoots des deux premières années dans la catégorie « lifestyle-wedding ». ) Cette année j’aurais adoré pouvoir prendre ces photos dans un champs de blé en France mais malheureusement je ne pense pas pouvoir rentrer de si tôt en France. Mais je me suis quand même habillée comme si j’étais en pleine campagne avec mon chapeau de paille préféré, la robe longue en vichy jaune que j’ai fini juste à temps, accompagnée de mon petit sac en osier, d’une paire de sandales et une paire de lunettes de soleil pour éviter que je ne ferme les yeux sur toutes les photos. 

Bien sûr je vous partagerais un autre article avec cette robe que j’ai fini de réaliser il y’a tout juste quelques jours. J’ai réalisé tout le patron moi-même mais je vous en reparlerais très vite avec la vidéo de tout le processus de création. 

Just like the two first years, we immortalize this day by taking some pictures (You can look for our photoshoot of the last years under the « lifestyle-wedding » category. ) This year I would of love to be able to take theses pictures in a wheat field in France but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to go back to France anytime soon. But we still dressed up just like if we’re in the middle of the countryside with my favorite straw hat, a maxi yellow gingham dress I made just in time for our anniversary, a straw purse and a pair of sandals and sunglasses. ( very useful to not close my eyes in all the pictures haha ! ) 

Of course I’ll show you more pictures of this dress very soon. I made the all pattern by myself and I’m pretty satisfied how it turned out. But don’t worry I’ll share all the making process. Stay tuned ! 🙂 

Et hubby quant à lui a reporté son costume de mariage avec un tee-shirt blanc en dessous. C’est la première fois qu’on est aussi chic pour fêter notre anniversaire de mariage. D’habitude on se contente de s’habiller d’une couleur ou d’une matière en lien avec la matière anniversaire. Mais la vérité c’est qu’on était en sueur à la fin de ce photoshoot même si on a attendu que le soleil soit moins haut pour prendre ces photos. C’est moins glamour mais il fait vraiment très chaud à Bahreïn l’été. Je ne pensais pas que ma robe pouvait être aussi chaude haha.

About hubby’s outfit we wear the same suit he wore for our wedding day with a simple white tee-shit under. It’s the first time we are that chic to celebrate our anniversary. The last 2 years we wore much simpler outfits but with pieces of clothes in the fabric of the color related to the material anniversary. But the truth is we’re so sweaty at the end of this photoshoot even if we waited for the sun to not be as high during the photoshoot. It’s not that glamour but Bahrain is really hot during summer. I didn’t know my dress could be that hot haha !

  15. So amazing Margot, it is so cool that you are able to live in another country with your beloved one and enjoy some time together, specially in these weird seasons! Wish you the best for the upcoming years.

    I really liked your idea of how to celebrate this time together, with some creativity shooting photos 🙂 Maybe you can see these photos in a few years and then see how time and you both are evolving. I loved how you came up with the result of this dress, will you take it in more looks? Ideal for summer, I’d say and the detail of the hat is so cool!

    Hope you guys can travel to France soon…. maybe next year? We hope so!

      Yes this is is already so fun to see the evolution from the year. It’s a good memory.

      Yes I’ll share anytime soon a new article about this dress.
      I’m hoping for winter to come back in France but now in Bahrain you have to pay for 2 coranivirus tests and be in quarantine when you enter the country so we may just wait.
