Hi guys !

Je suis contente d’enfin pouvoir partager avec vous les photos et la vidéo de la création de ma robe arc-en-ciel que j’ai créée spécialement pour mon anniversaire. J’ai mis un peu de temps avant de partager avec vous cet article car je voulais avoir fini de monter la vidéo avant de poster toutes les photos par ici.

J’espère que le résultat vous plaira. Finalement je suis allée au bout de mon idée et j’ai créer quelque chose de complètement coloré avec un top aussi coloré que la jupe. Je suis vraiment satisfaite de la forme de cette robe car je voulais quelque chose d’assez ample.  Le dos de la robe est plus long avec un noeud à nouer et un dos nus. Et surtout la jupe est très évasée et c’est ce que je voulais pour avoir une robe qui tourne. J’aurais peut-être préféré avoir un rendu de robe plus chic mais au moins je pourrais porter celle-ci très facilement tous les étés à venir.

I’m happy to finally share with you all the pictures and videos of the rainbow dress I made for my birthday. It took me a while to share this article because I wanted to finish to upload the making video of this dress before to post any pictures here. 

I hope you’ll like it. At the end I decided to go through my first idea and make a top as colorful as the skirt. I’m pretty satisfied how it turned out. I wanted something pretty loose and flared and I created an open back with a bow I can tie and untie. I’m really happy how the skirt is flared so I can twirl with this dress. Maybe I wish this dress looked more chic but at least it’ll be easier to wear all summer long and next summers to come.

Sinon vendredi j’ai eu 26 ans avec cette robe arc-en-ciel. On a passé une chouette journée à la maison à regarder Disney+. J’ai découvert la série prop culture qui est incroyable où on redécouvre les objets qui ont servi pour tourner certains films Disney. Et maintenant je rêve d’un jour pouvoir entrer dans les hangars des  » Walt Disney Archives  » et découvrir les costumes et les dessins des stylistes d’origine. Malheureusement à Bahreïn les restaurants n’ont pas encore réouverts contrairement en France. Dommage j’aurais aimé pouvoir commande un bon steak chez TGIF. Une chaîne américaine que j’aime beaucoup pour aller manger en général un bon steak. Mais heureusement on a talabat qui est l’équivalent du Uber food donc on a pu se faire plaisir et me commander des mini gâteaux en guise de gâteau d’anniversaire. 🙂 Sinon, j’ai été beaucoup trop gâté. Hubby m’a offert un sac Michael Kors que j’adore. Il est vraiment différent de ce que j’ai pu voir ou avoir et il est assez grand pour pouvoir y glisser mon appareil photo. Il m’a également offert un nouveau parfum Jean Paul Gaultier avec la bouteille en forme d’hôtesse de l’air, deux extensions du jeu de société Villainous. On a pas encore pris le temps d’y jouer mais il a l’air vraiment top pour se mettre à la place d’un méchant Disney et essayer d’être le plus vilain possible. Avec ces deux extensions j’ai les personnages de Pete, le méchant classique dans les cartoons Mickey, Mère Gothel, la méchante dans Raiponce, Cruella, Scar, Ratigan, le méchant dans Basil détective privé et Izma, la méchante dans Kuzco. Avec notre adresse militaire, il n’a pu me commander le jeu principal mais les extensions peuvent se jouer sans le jeu principal dans j’ai vraiment hâte d’y jouer. Sinon mes parents m’ont envoyé un livre sur les fibres textiles et les tissus avec des échantillons. Je suis trop contente d’avoir reçu ce livre qui va beaucoup me servir. Et je viens tout juste de recevoir ce midi leur deuxième colis : une petite paire d’escarpins vichy bleu que j’ai trop hâte de porter, un collier en plaqué or avec un crystal rose et une paire de petites anneaux toujours en plaqué or avec des émeraudes verts. 

Last Friday I turned 26 with this rainbow dress. I had a really great day staying at home watching Disney +. I discovered the tv show called prop culture and this is an amazing documentary. You discovered a lot of prop from a lot of Disney classics. Now I wish to have one day the chance to visit the Walt Disney archives. And I hope one day I’ll be lucky enough to see Disney costumes and original fashion design sketches. Unfortunately in Bahrain restaurants are still closed so we’re not able to eat anywhere for my birthday. I really wish we could of go to TGIF to have a good steak. But we have talabat which is the equivalent of Uber food so we’re able to order some good food and a birthday cake well actually we picked a dozen of mini cakes. I was really spoiled by my husband and my parents. Hubby bought for me a Michael Kors bag. It’s different from what I saw before and I really love it. And it’s enough big to put my camera in. 🙂 He also gave me a Jean Paul Gaultier perfume. It’s a special edition with  bottle in a shape of a flight attendant. And I also got 2 extensions of the Villainous board game. We didn’t take the time to try it yet but It looks really good. I think it’s gonna become my favorite board game. You are at the place of a Disney villain and you have an evil objective to success. With theses 2 extensions I have the characters of Pete, the villain in Mickey cartoons, Mother Gothel, the villain in Rapunzel, Cruella, Scar, Ratigan, the villain in Basil, the mouse detective and Irma, the villain in Kuzco. With our military dress he couldn’t order for me the main game but the extensions can be play without the main one so it’s all good. I really can’t wait to play this game. By my parents I got a new beautiful book. It’s a book about textiles fibers and fabrics. And inside you have a lot of fabric swatches so it’s gonna be very useful for me and it’s a great addition to my library. And I just received a second package from them this afternoon : A pair of heels in blue gingham. I can’t wait to wear those in a look ! And a necklace in gold pleated with a pink crystal and a pair of loop earrings with a green emerald on it.

    Happy birthday again, I’m happy to read that you had the chance to celebrate and with a dress made by you, the result went out really good and it feels like something you could find in a real store, kuddos on that, it looks so well made :D!

    I liked that you kept it to the original idea, every color has it moments and you shine in the dress, also the combination with neutral tones is a good idea to make it stand 😉

    Ahhh and nice that you mentioned Prop Culture, definitely a good way to watch something interesting that is not the typical!

      I always try to make pretty end finishing.
      Yes I didn’t which shoes to wear with this dress but I thought theses high heels will be cool and will match the sand color haha.
