Hi guys !
Lately I was all about this new trend : The Shoulder padded muscle tee-shirt. So instead of buying one I thought I would try to make it using a old tee-shirt I stole from my husband’s closet and one pair of shoulder pads I already had in my sewing storage box.
I let you watch the video just below if you’re interesting to see how I made this tee-shirt. I’m pretty happy how it turned out even if it doesn’t look exactly like the model. It made me saved 15 euros and even more because If I bought it online I would of buy more than one top on a website. Haha. And it’s also pretty cool to recreate something new by using something old. I just wish the shoulder pads I had were thicker so the shoulders will look even bigger. The top I created is more low cut to the sides than it is on the model but I actually love it like this. I just need to be careful of which bra, body or tops I’m gonna wear under. I also decided to keep the initial length of this top so I could even wear it as a dress. 🙂 Here on the pictures just below I wear it with a lace bodysuit under, mom jeans, my pair of black babies and a red bow in my hair. What do you think ?

I love this, Margot! What a great repurpose of your hubby’s t-shirt. Love the entire outfit! 🙂

Et merci beaucoup c’est adorable !
I love how it turned out! It looks great babe!

Thanks you so much !
Hey Margot! I love that you’re getting creative with your garments, beyond a fashion blogger you’re taking a step beyond and challenging yourself and the way you dress by putting an extra customization in creating your own pieces, that’s nothing like that specially in these years where many pieces look very similar…. kuddos on that!
I remember you shared this piece on your IG and I told you how much I liked it, it is simple but the tailoring and the shape is so bold that you can mix create an interesting result with it, actually I have a similar one that you saw on my stories but wouldn’t mind to have one more, maybe one customized by me haha!
Stay safe and keep creative 🙂 !!!
Oh yes, you should definitely give it a try 🙂
J’admire ta créativité ! Le rendu est très sympa ! 🙂
Oh merci beaucoup !
This seems super easy to do!

It was so cool to see your own version of making this tee-shirt.
It’s a lot better with 4 shoulders pads than just 2 !
Definitely a trend I’ve been loving. I just got one few weeks ago and I love it. Kudos to you, beautiful!

Hope that your week is off to a good start! 🙂 We are on week 6 of staying at home but they have started to lift some restrictions which is nice! 🙂

I hope you’re having a good week too.
Same here we are staying home even if in Bahrain we are not in total lockdown.
I love how you were able to upgrade that shirt into a piece you love! That muscle tee looks really great on you! This look really reminds me of the 50’s and drinking milkshakes in diners. Such a cute outfit!

Yes I thought it was cool to keep the length so it’s even more versatile to keep it as a dress too.
