De retour de Malaisie, je suis contente d’être de retour sur le blog. En attendant de trier mes photos et vidéos de vacances je voulais vous partager un nouveau look avec une nouvelle pièce que j’ai créée. Dans ma valise j’avais emmené deux nouvelles pièces que j’avais créée juste avant de partir en vacances : Ce top blanc boutonné et une robe vichy que je n’ai pas encore pris le temps de prendre en photos, mais je vous montre ça bientôt. 

I’m back from Malaysia and I’m so happy to be back on the blog. Waiting for me to sort off all the pictures and videos we took during our vacations I wanted to share with you a new look with a new item I created. In my suitcase for the vacations I brought 2 new creations I realized just before to leave for Malaysia : A white buttoned-up top and a gingham dress I didn’t take in pictures yet but I stay tuned I’ll show you this dress very soon.

Ce top je l’ai réalisé très rapidement quelques jours avant de prendre l’avion. J’ai toujours l’impression de ne pas avoir assez de tops pour accompagner mes tenues. Et j’adore les top blancs, c’est si facile à assortir. Les pièces de ce top étaient déjà coupés depuis bien plus d’un an. Donc la aussi il n’y’aura pas de tuto mais promis la prochaine fois je vous filme tout ça si bien sûr ça vous intéresse. Du coup comme le patronage et les pièces étaient déjà coupé je n’ai pas mis très longtemps à le fabriquer. J’ai seulement modifié le modèle en créant une boutonnière milieu devant, donc le résultat final est moins évasé que ce que j’avais imaginé quand j’avais coupé les pièces. J’aime beaucoup le résultat de ce top avec des noeuds sur les épaules et de gros boutons en bois sur le devant. Qu’en pensez-vous ?

This top I realized it pretty quick only few days before to catch our flight. I always feel like I don’t have enough tops to match my outfits and I love white tops. It’s just so easy to match. So I decided to create this top as the pieces I used to create this top have already been cut before. I cut the pieces since probably more than a year but I didn’t take the time to sew them together. It’s never too late to use it. So I won’t share with you a new auto as the pattern for this top has been created a long time ago but next time I promised I’ll explain to you everything in a video probably if of course you’re interested. So It didn’t take me as much time to create this top as it usually does to create something as the pattern and the cut of the pieces were already done. I just alternate the orignal modele a little bit by creating some buttonholes. So the top is not as flared as what I meant to create one year ago but I really like the result with the bows on my shoulders and the big wood buttons at the front. What do you think ?

Le top est légèrement transparent mais en Malaisie je me suis retrouvée des « cache-tétons »autocollants en silicone et c’est impeccable ! J’espère que ce look avec ce nouveau top DIY vous plaira. Maintenant que je suis rentrée de vacances j’ai pleins de nouvelles idées de projet couture à réaliser prochainement. Hâte de les partager avec vous. Je porte ce top avec un pantalon Mango tout fin que j’adore.Il est parfait pour les hautes chaleurs de Bahrein. Car non ici chez nous les températures ne se sont pas encore adoucit. Il fait toujours aussi chaud ! Le tout accompagné de baskets rouge et un nouveau gros noeud rouge dans mes cheveux qui a été acheté pendant notre séjour. J’ai hâte de vous montrer tous nos achats.

The top is a little bit transparent but when I was in Malaysia I bought new adhesive silicone  pads to hide my nipples and it’s perfect. I hope you’ll enjoy the pictures of this new look with this new DIY top. Now I’m back from vacations I have so many new sewing projects in mind. I can’t wait to share theses with you. I’m wearing this top with Mango pants. There are really thin it’s perfect for the heat in Bahrain because nope this crazy heat is not gone yet. And I matched everything with a pair of red sneakers and a big new red bow in my hair. I bought this red bow in Malaysia with few other ones and I can’t wait to share with you all the new things I found in Malaysia.

  1. Hi Margot! Happy to see you back from your holidays… Hope you had a nice time in Malaysia!

    It is always nice to bring souvenirs with us in our suitcases, and if that souvenir is something you can use many times…. BETTER! I loved your picks, I feel like you can rock those pieces anywhere in the world and with different combinations. The thing I like the most is that stay true to your style 🙂
