A look during the ramadan.

Le Ramadan a commencé depuis une semaine au Moyen Orient. Et pour ce mois  spirituel pour la majorité des musulmans, on a des consignes à respecter. On ne doit pas boire ou manger en public pendant la journée, ce qui est tout à fait normal quand une majorité jeûne jusqu’au coucher du soleil. D’ailleurs les supermarchés et la plupart des restaurants ne sont pas ouverts pendant la journée. Par contre en ce qui concerne la tenue, je n’étais pas sûre de savoir comment me comporter. Je ne savais pas si je devais me couvrir les jambes ou les bras ou si ramadan ou non ça importait peu. Alors je vous propose une tenue de circonstance : Je porte un jean d’une ancienne collection Pull and Bear avec une paire de baskets stradivarius, un vieux débardeur New Yorker que j’ai recouvert d’un kimono brodé Zara que j’ai acheté exprès l’année dernière pour des destinations ou je dois recouvrir mes épaules. Le tout accompagné de petits bijoux, une barrette, le beau sac à main de qualité que ma soeur m’a offert pour Noël et une paire de solaires. Qu’en pensez vous ? 

The ramadan started last week in Middle East. And during this spiritual month for most of the muslins we can’t drink or eat in public during day time which is totally normal when most of the locals fast until the sun is out. But the way the supermarkets and most of the restaurants only open at sunset. But I didn’t know how to dress up if I had to cover my shoulders and my legs or if It didn’t matter. So I’m sharing with you today my outfit for the ramadan : I’m wearing a pair of jeans from an ancient Pull and Bear collection with a pair of Stradivarius sneakers, an old pink lace top from New Yorker and a kimono with embroideries I bought at Zara last year especially for countries where I need to cover my shoulders. And I accessorized this outfit with jewelleries, a pearl hair clip, a beautiful handbag of quality my sister bought me for Christmas and a pair of sunglasses. What do you think about this outfit ? 

Bon j’en ai conclus que sur la presqu’île où on habite je peux me découvrir comme je veux comme j’ai croisé des gens en maillots de bains sur la plage et que la majorité des habitants sont des expatriés. Je pense que mes tenues à Bahrain vont beaucoup dépendre de l’endroit où je me trouve. Mais ça je vous en reparlerais dans un article spécial Bahreïn. Juste pour l’anecdote, le week end dernier ( avant le ramadan ) dans un centre commercial, la sécurité est venue me trouver pour me dire que ma tenue était trop courte. Je me suis vraiment sentie mal mais il y’avait pas de problème, je suis partie me trouver un pantalon en vitesse chez H&M pour qu’on ne loupe pas notre séance de cinéma. je pense donc que ça dépend de l’endroit où je me trouve, car je suis déjà allée dans un centre commercial en short. Je ne sais pas.

Well I concluded on the peninsula where we live I can wear what I want as most of the peoples are expatriates and I met a lot of peoples in swimsuit. I think my outfits in Bahrain will depend a lot of the places I’m going. I’ll tell you more about it in a special article about Bahrain but for the little story, last week ( just before the ramadan ) I didn’t fell so great because the security came to see me just after I enter a mall because my outfit was too short. I didn’t take it like a big deal I just went to H&M and I bought a new pair of trousers to not miss the movie we’re going to but I was really ashamed of my self. So I think it really depends of the place I’m going to because I already wear shorts in an other mall so I don’t know.
