Breakfast at Sketch in London

Aujourd’hui je commence à rattraper quelques articles voyage en retard que j’ai pu préparer avant notre déménagement. (Plus que deux semaines avant notre emménagement dans notre nouvelle maison à Bahrain, trop hâte de quitter l’hôtel  !). Il y’a quelques mois, en octobre dernier, nous étions partis quelques jours à Londres pour assister à un match de football américain. J’avais acheté le livre guide cartoville sur Londres pour repérer les endroits que j’avais envie de visiter. Et dedans j’avais repéré un café restaurant que l’on voit partout sur Instagram. Il s’agit de Sketch, une gallerie d’art restaurant et salon de thé.  Il y’a au moins 4 restaurants disponibles avec chacun une ambiance particulière. Plusieurs semaines avant notre séjour, j’avais réservé sur leur site internet la salle-restaurant “The glade” pour notre premier petit déjeuner à Londres.  J’ai préféré choisir cette salle violette-verte aux allures de forêt enchanté plutôt que “the gallery”, le salon de thé que l’on voit partout sur Instagram avec un intérieur très rose et très girly. Nous avions réservé car étant un samedi je pensais croiser beaucoup de monde et finalement nous étions les premiers et peut être seulement deux ou trois autres tables nous ont rejoint. C’était très calme. J’ai commandé un thé, un jus de fruit et des galettes de riz au chocolat blanc et coulis de framboise tandis que hubby à pris un smoothie et des œufs benedictes au saumon. Les prix peuvent être très chers suivant le moment de la journée ou la salle restaurant que vous choisissez. Le petit déjeuner restait raisonnable au niveau du prix pour pouvoir profiter d’un joli environnement. Je vous recommande d’aller au toilette car même les toilettes ont une ambiance particulière. Nos toilettes étaient très kitsch, noir avec des strass partout.

Today I’m starting to catch up some travel articles I prepare just before we move out from Sicily (We are moving in our new bahreini house in 2 weeks. I just can’t wait to leave the hotel !). Few months ago, in October, we spent few days in London to watch an American football game. I bought a guide book about London to know all the places we could visit in London. It was my second time in London but there was still places I didn’t visit before. In this book I found a nice café and restaurant you can see everywhere in Instagram, it’s called Sketch. In this place there is at least 4 restaurants and tea places which are all différents witch it’s own athmosphere. Few weeks before our trip I booked the room-restaurant “The glade” for our first breakfast in London. I preferred this place rather than the “gallery” because I thought this place was more originale with it’s purple and green athmosphere which looks like an enchanted forest. You may have seen “the gallery” room everywhere on Instagram it’s the tea place which is really pink and girly. I booked the place because I heard it can become really crowded but it was very quiet for a Saturday morning. We were the first and not that many people join us. I ordered a fruit juice, a tea and some rice cakes with white chocolate and raspberry syrup. It was delicious. And hubby ordered a smoothie and benedicte  eggs with some salmon. Prices can be pretty high following which room and which meal you pick. About the price, Breakfast was just good for us.  If you come to this place you must also use the bathroom as it’s also well decorated. Our bathroom was really black with a lot of shining stones.   13. Coucou ma belle! Ce restaurant a l’air d’avoir une atmosphère vraiment particulière! Je n’avais jamais entendu parler de Sketch! Ton look est très joli, vous avez l’air de vous êtes régalés! Courage, bientôt l’emménagement dans votre maison! des bisous <3
